Lens Luminaire collection

Through a close inquiry into an optician's process and production, Object Density have realised the opportunity to redefine an element of waste. The Lens Luminaire seeks to reinstate the value of imperfect optical lenses, by highlighting their inherent beauty and unique distortive qualities. 

The Lens Luminaire Collection distills the concept of the large chandelier into a family of table, floor and wall lamps. Made from solid brass, each piece is hand-finished and assembled by our studio team in Eindhoven, NL. The integrated touch-sensitive switch in the lamp base requires a touch to turn on/off, and touch and hold to change brightness.

The modularity and small-scale production of these lamps allow them to customised to suit a wide range of spaces and requirements. For questions, custom requests or sales please contact us.

We believe in business as a force for good and donate 1% of sales to a charity or organisation chosen for each product. For The Lens Luminaire 1% will go to Vision For Life, a grant-making fund that finances projects that address the needs of those with uncorrected poor vision and bring about socio-economic benefits for them and their communities.
